The Interdistrict School for Arts And Communication (ISAAC) is a free, public middle school option for students in southeastern Connecticut. It is a state charter school located in New London, Connecticut. ISAAC's 181 sixth, seventh, and eighth graders come from 12 neighboring towns: East Lyme, Groton, Ledyard, Lyme, Montville, New London, North Stonington, Old Lyme, Preston, Salem, Stonington and Waterford.

ISAAC is an experiential learning community where students, families, and teachers are challenged to discover and express the best in themselves and each other while valuing the diversity.

Sound Community Services, Inc is a nonprofit organization whose programs serve as bridges to recovery for individuals with mental illness and/or substance abuse disorders. Sound Community Services has expanded from its original mission as an alternative living program facilitating smooth transitions from the psychiatric hospital setting to a supportive community setting. Its current multi-program approach offers employment, social, rehabilitation, case management and residential services.
